Serving at Journey to Bethlehem

The Wenatchee 7th Day Adventist Church will be hosting the epic “Journey to Bethlehem”! Last year they did not have enough support to hold the popular event. The Wenatchee Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ has offered to help.

“Experience the town of Bethlehem as it was the night the Christ Child was born. The Journey includes over 150 actors and supporting cast in full costume and a LIVING NATIVITY!” There are opportunities to serve in the cast, or help behind the scenes.

This event takes place from December 5-8 at the Wenatchee Seventh-day Adventist Church on the corner of Fifth and Western. You can make reservations to attend the event, and find additional information at http://www.j2bwenatchee.org

We are in need of about 20 individuals who would like small parts in the production of the story of Jesus’ birth. There are a variety of parts available, including teenage thieves, husband/wife or daughter couples, women knitting in the village, and even goat walkers. There are also wonderful opportunities to serve if you are able to assist in building the set. Practices begin November 3rd and are on a couple of Sundays. Performances will be December 5th-8th in 2 1/2 hour shifts in the evening. If you are interested in participating in this event please email wenatcheestake@gmail.com and we will reach out to you. Thank you for your support and service!

Shift times are: 5:30-7:45 and 7:45-10
