“Together Wenatchee” to Host Homeless Kit Assembly

Together Wenatchee is hosting their 6th annual personal hygiene gift bag giveaway. Last year, over 300 homeless and needy adults received a gift bag.  This year the goal is to provide a bag for every man and woman living at; Haven of Hope, The Rescue Mission (formerly the Hospitality House), Bruce Transitional Housing, YWCA housing programs, and the homeless who utilize the Salvation Army’s meal and shower program. In addition, twenty needy individuals have been nominated to receive help through the Facebook page, “Wenatchee Everything Under The Sun.”

There are two ways the Wenatchee Valley community can help make this event successful. You can donate items, and you can help assemble all the hygiene kits.

NEW, FULL SIZED hygiene items are being collected until December 12th. Please donate any of the following items:

The project will take place in the gym area of the church, with plenty of room to spread out and social distance. Covid-19 prevention protocols will be in place. This year of heartache, confusion, and fear is almost over. Let’s end 2020 on a positive note, and touch the lives of those within our reach.
