The message is an awesome one: life is better when we’re connecting with others.
Sometimes connection happens spontaneously. Other times, we have to look for opportunities and then choose to connect. For example:
- Say hi to someone at school.
- Invite a friend to share a meal.
- Help a family member.
When we do things like this, we’re inviting happiness into our own lives while spreading goodness to others. It’s a win-win!
Choose Connection is a social movement that encourages people to connect with others—familial relationships, friendships, connections with a stranger, etc., because connection can enrich and bring meaning to our lives.
Connection can take many forms, whether it be something simple like a “hello” to a stranger, to dinner with family, to connecting with people online, to going the extra mile to serve in your community and more.
If we all chose connection we would find out that we share more than we think…good, bad, and indifferent.
#ChooseConnection is all about uniting people worldwide while celebrating our diversity and highlighting how individuals choose connection over division.
